Happy New Year everyone! We hope that your 2023 is off to a great start! Fresh new firsts are always welcome in a New Year, and so we are thrilled to introduce you to Lakeya Balfour. Lakeya recently joined Joe Taylor Restoration (JTR) as our first ever official Corporate Recruiter. She comes to JTR with extensive recruiting experience, and we have the privilege of getting to know her better in this January Employee Spotlight- Headquarters.

JTR is always growing and expanding, making Lakeya an instrumental part of the success of the company. She is working closely with all of JTR’s Department Managers to find and hire top talent to meet our company goals, and maintain our unmatched reputation for providing the best in emergency services.

Lakeya says that her favorite part of her job “is helping fulfill the company’s needs when it comes to filling open positions, while also helping people find employment.”  Her favorite aspect of JTR is “the amazing people here and the healthy/happy work environment.”

Family

My family and my dogs are most important to me. I take pride in being a big sister to 3 younger siblings, a godmother to my 2 year old godson and a dog mom to my 2 puppies.

Hobbies

My hobbies include singing, dancing, photography and anything that gets my creative side going!

Favorite Foods

My favorite foods are chicken wings & tacos.
