Happy New Year! We, at Joe Taylor Restoration, hope that your holiday season was filled with joy, meaningful time with loved ones, and hopefully some relaxation too.

Because we so value our amazing team members, we are kicking off 2021 with another Employee Spotlight. This time, the focus is on Carlos Azurmendi, a Mold Estimator at our Central Florida Office who has been working with JTR for over four years.

Carlos told us that his favorite aspect of his job is the “support and resources available for success.” And his favorite thing about JTR is the “great atmosphere and the personal growth opportunities.”

Personal growth opportunities are actually very important to us at JTR. We assist and encourage all our employees to engage in both personal and professional growth, and we are proud of Carlos for doing just that.

In order for you to get to know him better, Carlos chose four topics about which to share: his family, hobbies, favorite destinations, and educational background.

Family

I have been married for 25 years to an Art Teacher. We have 2 young adults, 20 and 22 years old. My daughter is a professional classical ballerina working for the Minnesota Ballet, and my son is majoring in journalism at the University of Central Florida.

Hobbies 

I enjoy the outdoors: camping, boating, kayaking, bicycling, and golf.

Favorite Destinations

Small towns in Spain, France, and Italy are my favorite.

Educational Background

I have completed 1 year of Pre-Architecture School, and 1 year of Business Administration. I also have ISO-9000 Quality Standard Certification, and Texas Real Estate Certification.
