Employee Spotlight: Rick Asadoorian- Central Florida Office

insurance agency and carrier partnersAt Joe Taylor Restoration (JTR), our team is made up of a wide variety of individuals from many different backgrounds and experiences. We have former military members and newspaper editors, recent college graduates, and retired major league baseball players, all making up an incredibly efficient and successful “family” that is JTR. Rick Asadoorian is one of our talented retired baseball players, and the subject of the September Employee Spotlight- Central Florida Office.

As the Key Accounts Manager/ Account Executive for two and a half years at JTR, Rick has the opportunity to interact mostly with our insurance agency and carrier partners. He has earned a reputation for being very personable and connecting easily with everyone he meets. This does not come as a surprise considering Rick’s favorite aspect of his job: “I love that I have the ability, and I’m encouraged, to cultivate relationships anywhere there is opportunity for growth. Also, I enjoy providing the value our customers need wherever/ whenever it is needed.”

Rick’s favorite thing about JTR also speaks to our fantastic team and the relationship he and we have with insurance agency and carrier partners, as well as our customers. “JTR is truly a family. There is an unbelievable amount of support for each other at every turn, and we all extend that support to our clients and partners. This helps provide an Unmatched Service Experience for our customers.”

In order for you to get to know him better, Rick chose three topics about which to share: Family, Favorite Food, Educational History/ Background.

Family

Family is the most important thing to me. Everything I do is for them. My wife, Devon, and I live in Orlando. We have been Married for 6 years. Our son, Parker, is 5. Our daughter, Emery, is 2.

Favorite Food

My Favorite food, without a doubt, is homemade pizza. The secret is in the sauce.

Educational History/ Background

I grew up in Massachusetts playing Football, Basketball, and Baseball. After High School, I received a full scholarship to play baseball at the University of Florida. Rather than accepting the Scholarship, I was drafted by the Boston Red Sox in the 1st round of the 1999 MLB draft. I played 12 years professionally before returning to school to earn a degree in Business Management.

Thank you, Rick, for being such a valuable part of the JTR family- utilizing your strengths to support and build relationships with our partners, as well as provide our customers with an unmatched service experience.
