Employee Spotlight: Rafael Barros- Headquarters

Earlier this month, in our Customer Spotlight, we touched on how Joe Taylor Restoration was assisting customers during and in the aftermath of Tropical Storm Eta. We continue to do so, servicing our customers with a wide range of water damage issues.
With that in mind, we would like to highlight a specific team member in this month’s Employee Spotlight, Headquarters: Rafael Barros. Rafael is a Production Team Leader in the water department at the Delray Beach office. He has been with JTR for 8 years and has a wonderful reputation for awesome customer service.
Rafael says his favorite thing about JTR is the great environment and workplace. He appreciates “the friendship between all employees.”
His favorite aspect of his job is meeting and interacting with new people at the office and job site. He especially enjoys helping homeowners through tough times, and it shows. JTR often receives glowing Certificates of Satisfaction acknowledging Rafael’s work ethic and his ability to help homeowners in their time of need.
In order for you to get to know him better, Rafael chose three topics about which to share: his family, his number one hobby, and food!
I have been married to my beautiful wife for 8 years now. We have two boys. Eric is 3 years old, and Adrian is 11 months old. But my first “son” is a beagle named Chewy! (LOL)
Number One Hobby
I am a private pilot, and I absolutely love to be in the air on my free time. My favorite quote is, “only pilots know why the birds sing.” Fun fact: I recently landed an airplane on a major highway- the Sawgrass Expressway. (oops!)
My favorite kind of food is a Brazilian style BBQ. And the perfect steak has to be medium rare. (yummy!)
