As Thanksgiving approaches, it’s a natural time to pause, reflect, and appreciate the people who make Joe Taylor Restoration (JTR) the strong, service-driven company it is. This season reminds us how thankful we are for the dedicated employees who show up every day with commitment, resilience, and heart—especially when homeowners need us most.
This month’s Joe Taylor Restoration Employee Spotlight: Central Florida Office shines on Brandon Erickson, a Water Project Team Leader who has been an invaluable part of JTR for 5 years. In his role, Brandon leads with expertise, professionalism, and a genuine passion for helping people during challenging situations.
When asked about his favorite aspect of the job, Brandon shared that he loves “problem solving and getting to meet and speak with all sorts of different types of people.” That combination of curiosity and connection is exactly what makes him such an effective leader out in the field.
It’s these qualities, among others, that consistently lead to fantastic customer reviews for Brandon, including this one from Bob in Orlando:
We arrived in October to find massive water damage in our Daytona Beach condo. Our insurance recommended Joe Taylor Restoration for immediate inspection. Brandon drove to DB on a Saturday to review the damage, take pictures and start the process!! He left us with an industrial dehumidifier and air filters. He answered our calls, responded to my texts and stayed with us all the way. His very efficient crew spent a day on demo. They took all of the contaminated debris and left all the areas spotless. We would highly recommend Brandon and his team.

My wife gave birth to our baby boy in June. Becoming a father and seeing my wife become a mother has been the greatest joy of my life!
Hobbies/ Interests
I love golfing! One of my favorite parts of the game is when I blast the ball into the woods or some body of water. Regardless of how I play I have never had a bad day on the course!
Favorite Destination
St. Augustine holds a special place in my heart. From the great restaurants and bars to the museums and history of the city, our family has made it a yearly tradition to spend a week there. We soak it up typically during the night of lights!
