In this first month of 2026, many things have remained the same as the previous year, but there are things that are new too. Some people have decided to work out for the first time in years, learn a new language, or save toward that vacation. Others have a brand new occupation, or new responsibilities in the job they already had. Such is the case exactly for our Joe Taylor Restoration (JTR) January Employee Spotlight- Headquarters: Cassandra Compère.
Cassandra has been with JTR for 9 months as an Operations Assistant + Collections. But it’s the collections portion of her job title that is new for her. As many who work in the service industry know, working in collections can be especially challenging because it often places the person in the middle of emotional and stressful situations for property owners. Cassandra has taken on this new venture beautifully, connecting with people when they may feel overwhelmed by a property loss, anxious about the restoration process, or frustrated by collections.
In her role, Cassandra plays a vital part in guiding property owners from the beginning of the loss through the final stages of the process, ensuring they feel supported and informed every step of the way. Her calm, compassionate approach helps turn a difficult moment into one that feels manageable, making a meaningful difference for customers as they move toward property recovery.
When asked about her favorite aspect of her job, Cassandra shared:
“I appreciate being a reassuring voice for property owners when everything around them feels overwhelming- starting from the initial date of loss through the final steps of making payments.”
Cassandra says what she values most about working at JTR is “how JTR helps property owners recover after a loss. Every cleanup, every repair, is a step toward giving customers back their sense of security and safety. Hearing customers talk about how they feel safe again after a disaster is incredibly rewarding.”
