We, at Joe Taylor Restoration (JTR), hope your summer is going great and that you’re staying as cool as possible in the heat! With summer in mind, we give you Mitch Wojtowicz. This fantastic team member, who is still getting used to the very warm summers on Florida’s west coast, is the subject of JTR’s July Employee Spotlight- Southwest Florida Office. Mitch began working as an Estimator in our Southwest Florida Office about 2 and a half years ago, when he moved to our great hot state from the much cooler state of Illinois.
Mitch says his favorite aspect of his job at JTR is “critical and creative thinking. Every day I am exposed to new situations, forcing me to not only find new solutions but to improve my own abilities along the way.” And his favorite thing about JTR as a company is “the people. Coming in to work knowing I can rely on those around me, communicate freely and have a great time doing it is priceless. It’s always refreshing to work with people that truly care about the product and service we provide.”
For his Employee Spotlight- Southwest Florida Office, Mitch chose three topics about which to share: Educational History/ Background, Favorite Destination, and Family.
Educational History/ Background
I am constantly improving my knowledge base wherever I can, which drove me to obtain my Master’s Degree in Business Analytics earlier this year. I had previously completed my Bachelors in Finance and am currently enrolled in a Project Management Master’s Program.
Favorite Destination
Marco Island is, and always will be, my favorite destination. My family has been going there for as far back as my memory allows. It will always be a second home to me, and the fishing is top notch.
Family
My wife and I were the first of our family to leave our home state of Illinois. We live together in SWFL with our dog Kona, the Pomsky.
