As an insurance professional, it is extremely important to choose the right companies to partner with, whether it is an auto glass company or a property restoration firm.
When you are in the insurance industry, a referral can be a scary thing to make, seeing as though you are putting your customer in the hands of another company, hoping and trusting them to do the right thing. When you make a referral, you are essentially putting your own name on the line. You are saying, “I know and trust this company- use them.” If they live up to or exceed your customer’s expectations, then you are in good shape, and chances are you have a customer for life.
However, if for some reason things don’t go so well, you put your customer (and any repeat business) in jeopardy.
