In a weekly blog a few weeks ago, entitled Condo Water Damage, a condo owner experienced water damage in his condo after a neighboring unit suffered a water loss. In that scenario, the owner called Joe Taylor Restoration out right away, and we were able to restore the property before any mold set in.
This week, we are looking at a situation that also involves neighboring condos. However, this time, water restoration is not performed right away, and water damage causes mold damage in Bonita Springs, Florida.
When an upstairs unit in a Bonita Springs condominium experienced a water loss, it took time for a plumber to come out and fix the leak. In order to repair the pipes, the plumber had to cut a hole in the ceiling of the downstairs neighbor’s master bathroom. When he did so, our customer, who had already been dealing with water damage from the neighboring unit, now discovered that there was mold growing as well.
