It’s time for another Joe Taylor Restoration (JTR) Employee Spotlight! This month, the focus is on teamwork, and specifically, a great team player, Lizette Perez.

Lizette has been with JTR for almost 6 months as the Accounts Receivable Supervisor in our Headquarters Office. She says her favorite aspect of her job is “the interaction with the customers and insurance companies, and seeing the satisfaction that each collector feels when the goal is accomplished.”

Lizette is all about teamwork, explaining that her favorite thing about JTR is “the camaraderie that exists between the employees. If we are going to work 8 hours a day, why have a bad time? It is better to keep the focus on the objectives, pass them in harmony and help each other between departments.”

For her Employee Spotlight- Headquarters, Lizette chose three topics about which to share: Educational History/ Background, Hobbies/ Interests and Favorite Travel Destination.

Educational Background/ History

I studied Business Education at the University of Puerto Rico. I worked for Scotiabank of Puerto Rico for 30 years. The last 10 of those years, I worked with wonderful and loyal people in the Central Retail Collection Unit as Senior Manager. After that time, I retired from the workforce, spending time with my family and friends and enjoying the nature of my island. I have now returned to work here at Joe Taylor Restoration, where my knowledge and experience in the field of collections will contribute to the development of the area.

Hobbies/ Interests

I like sewing sets for the kitchen and taking care of my orchids.

Favorite Travel Destination

I traveled to Europe in 2015- my favorite place was Greece. I would like to travel there again in the near future.
